EPISODE 1: From Nerd to Player
We meet the nerds and learn that they are as comfortable on the ball as a fish is on a bicycle. The nerds meet their coach and his assistant then play their first game against an opposition even they think they can beat.

EPISODE 2: From Individual to Team
Nerds FC cannot be 11 individuals on the pitch - they have to think and behave like a team. So the coach sends them on a team-bonding exercise that tests their problem-solving skills and whether their waterproof watches are actually waterproof. They also elect a team captain.

EPISODE 3: From Shy to Bold
Every football team has a song that unites the team and that their fans can sing on the terraces. And rhythm is an important component to the physical side to the game. The best team in the world is Brazil which is co-incidentally the home of Samba. So Nerds FC learn to sing and dance. The Showbiz world holds its breath.

EPISODE 4: From Afraid to Brave
Because their big game in three months time is going to be daunting, the coach wants Nerds FC to get used to playing under frightening conditions. He organises for the team to play in the most dangerous cauldron of fear imaginable. Clue: it's not David Jones on the first day of the sales.

EPISODE 5: From Mice to Men
The coach decides that Nerds FC are a bit, well, weedy. So he sends them to someone who specializes in turning boys into men. It means camping out in the bush, dirt, fear, hunger and bugs. And that's just the first hour.

EPISODE 6: From Nerd to Beckham
These days, professional football players are celebrities off the pitch as much as on. They're snapped by photographers on red carpets and advertise everything from sunglasses to soft drinks. The coach decides Nerds FC need a David Beckham-style makeover.

EPISODE 7: The Rematch
Not long to go before their Big Game, Nerds FC get some game advice from some famous names.

EPISODE 8: The Final Challenge
The Big Match against a professional opposition in front of a large crowd. The boys of Nerds FC get just one chance to find out what the culmination of their three months hard work is and find out whether any of them need to pack their bags to help out the Socceroos in Germany.
