Halo Anime confirmed
Microsoft will be taking their huge first-person-shooter franchise Halo to the animated world. Halo Legends will have five animated shorts, each from a renowned anime studio behind it's production, quite similar to last year's Batman Gotham Knight.
The stories have been developed internally in the USA but the studios will have free reign over how the actual anime will look. A trailer and formal announcement were revealed at San Diego Comic Con.
Top class anime talent are involved, including Shinji Aramaki (APPLESEED), and Mamoru Oshii (GHOST IN THE SHELL).
The studios involved are BONES (FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST), PRODUCTION I.G. (KILL BILL V01), Studio 4C (MIND GAME), Casio Entertainment and Toei Animation.
