French chef, Gabriel Gaté presents his delicious series of Taste Le Tour 2008 - a gastronomic journey that follows the route of the famous Tour de France. Gabriel has called upon his friend, Philippe Mouchel, the talented French chef, to prepare some of the great classic dishes of French cuisine, as well as French sommelier Christian Maier and special guests to bring the delicious flavours of the regions of the 2008 Tour de France alive.

Each segment begins with Gabriel explaining the specialities of the region through which the riders pass that day. Then a famous dish of the region is prepared by either Philippe Mouchel or Gabriel.
