With the first round of the Madman National Cosplay Championship over, we’re off to find our second finalists on the beautiful Gold Coast this weekend. Madman National Cosplay Championship Melbourne 2012
Welcome to the first round of the Madman National Cosplay Championship. The first destination this year will be Melbourne being held at 12pm on Saturday the 14th of April at Supanova Expo. This year we will have five teams competing for a place in the Grand Final event in Brisbane in November. Let’s take a quick look at each of these teams!

Dr. Tan here again! I've just come back from Supanova Brisbane and it was FANTASTIC! Val Kilmer (Batman), Christopher Lloyd (Dr Emmet Brown, Back to the Future) were just some of the stars, but of course, the main event was the Madman National Cosplay Championship (MNCC) Finals!

Madman National Cosplay Championship - Adelaide 2011 wrap
The Adelaide round of the Madman National Cosplay Championship was held over the weekend at AVCON – Adelaide’s annual anime and video games convention. With a total of 7 contestants, this was one of the biggest rounds we had all year. Being the final chance for anyone to qualify for the finals also made things tougher for this field and they all fought valiantly.
MMNC Sydney Round Entries closed
The entries are all in. Get ready Sydney, the Madman National Cosplay Championship is on in just under three weeks and with the deadline for submissions over the third state finals are now set. Perth cosplayers, you will have until this Sunday to get your entries in.
