MELBOURNE, Thursday, 23 February, 2006 - Tadashi enjoyed living like a punk on the Planet of the Rubbish Heap... until the day he came home to find his father dead and four possessed corpses standing over his body.
As they attack Tadashi, the fearless Captain Herlock, the last Space Pirate, steps in and saves his life, saying "If you want to become a real man, board my ship." Seizing the opportunity to avenge his father, Tadashi joins the crew of the space battleship Arcadia, as they pursue their mysterious enemy in an attempt to rescue the promised land - Earth!!
Based on the comic SPACE PIRATE CAPTAIN HERLOCK by Leiji Matsumoto (INTERSTELLA 5555) with character designs by Nobuteru Yuuki (ESCAFLOWNE , GENESHAFT, HEAT GUY J) and script by Sadayuki Murai (PERFECT BLUE, MILLENIUM ACTRESS), CAPTAIN HERLOCK is a space-pirate action-adventure that will appeal to all sci-fi and anime fans. Available for the first time as a complete 4-disc collection!
