MELBOURNE, Monday, 01 May, 2006 – All heads in the sand when this guy is around! Based on the Manga by Masatoshi Usune, DESERT PUNK is an all-new action/comedy series with plenty of fun and ‘fan-service’, brought to you by the prolific Studio Gonzo (Samurai 7, Gantz).
Enter a decimated world deep within the desert, where a less-than-noble hero fights for less-than-noble causes & chases a voluptuous love interest for less-than-decent reasons. A world where war is a way of life, sarcasm is a mode of communication and the unexpected is always on the menu.
They call him "Sunabouzou" & despite his diminutive size, he is the craftiest, most deadly, most underhanded, most... perverted bounty hunter out on the sands!
DESERT PUNK VOL. 1 will also be available to purchase with a Limited Edition Collector’s Box, to store all upcoming DVD releases of this series.
