MELBOURNE, Tuesday, 25 July, 2006 – For Renton, every day’s the same. Nothing happens, nothing changes. The only thing that keeps him happy is lifting on his ref board... That is, until a giant robot crashes into his house! Piloted by a mysterious and beautiful girl named Eureka, this encounter leads Renton into a whole new life - pursued by the military and pulled into a web of drama, intrigue, and non-stop action. EUREKA SEVEN is one of the most highly anticipated anime series to come out of Japan since FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST. Having scooped awards categories at the 2006 Tokyo International Anime Fair, EUREKA SEVEN is already a huge hit in Japan. The series has also made an impressive U.S. debut this year in Cartoon Network’s ‘Adult Swim’ programme.
The latest effort from Studio Bones (FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, WOLF’S RAIN),
EUREKA SEVEN’s epic storyline spans fifty episodes, features mech designs by
Shoji Kawamori (ESCAFLOWNE, MACROSS PLUS) and was awarded ‘Best TV
Series’, ‘Best Script’ and ‘Best Character Design’ at the 2006 Tokyo International
Anime Fair. EUREKA SEVEN already has 11 cross media partner collaborations,
with the Manga series already available, and video games, toy lines and more
in development.
EUREKA SEVEN VOL.1 will also be available to purchase with a Limited Edition Collector’s Box and also includes Vol.1 of the Eureka Seven Manga series.
