Robotech is back with a vengeance! Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, available on DVD March ‘07 from Madman.
MELBOURNE, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 – For 20 years now, Robotech fans have been eagerly awaiting this, the first “true sequel” and conclusion to the classic 1985 series!
With the unexpected conclusion to the war with the Invid, the people of Earth are finally liberated and an expedition prepares to search for Admiral Hunter's missing fleet. However, another mystery unfolds as a deadly new adversary threatens to test the limits of the Expeditionary Force's use of ‘Shadow Technology’.
Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles was developed by Harmony Gold (Robotech) in association with Tatsunoko Productions (Karas) and animated by DR Movie (Macross Plus). With the addition of Mark Hamill (Star Wars – Luke Skywalker!) as Commander Taylor, many of the original series’ voice cast have reprised their roles in Shadow Chronicles.WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY
