August 18, Roundhouse, UNSW, Sydney
SMASH!, the Sydney Manga and Anime Show, launches into orbit on the 18th of August at the Roundhouse@UNSW. SMASH will play host to an abundance of both fan favourites and brand new events, including Iron Artist, Cosplay competition and games, Maid Cafe and Host Club, gaming tournaments, art and industry panels, traders and food stalls, Kouhaku, and an entire level full of artists. There’s also a slew of art competitions, with prizes including Copic markers and Wacom graphics tablets. And they’ve even got a unique, one of a kind collection of artworks for you to bid on in their charity auction.
