Love Japanese culture? Love films? Then look no further than the 15th Japanese Film Festival! Having already travelled to Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane Hobart and Canberra, the festival is in Sydney now and will kick off in Melbourne on the 29th of November. Featuring a diverse range of films from cult hits, comedies, and action flicks to romantic dramas and animation, the JFF is a celebration of all things Japan and is not to be missed!
12 of the films appearing in this year’s program are in the top 20 of the Japanese Box Office for 2011, including Madman titles GANTZ and GANTZ : PERFECT ANSWER coming in at number three. From the 2010 Japanese Box Office, hits ARRIETTY at number one and SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO coming in at number four!
