Here’s a round up of some recent cool news items from around the world!

EVANGELION X HELLO KITTY… no we’re not kidding.

Sanrio and Groundworks are teaming up together to create a line of EVANGELION X HELLO KITTY character goods. These items will include Stationery goods, clothing, accessories and more.  Hello Kitty will be styled to look like EVANGELION’s Asuka and Rei. See below for some sample images:

STRIKE WITCHES COFFEE

In even more product news – Newtype Magazine and Toyo Beverages have confirmed they will be collaborating to create a line of STRIKE WITCHES canned coffee. They will be available individually for 160 yen each and also in a special 30 can pack that also includes a set of limited edition STRIKE WITCHES postcards illustrated by Koji Yamakawa. The packs will be available for 4800 yen from March 17th.

GUNDAM Theme park to rise in Odaiba from April 

With the recent news of the 1:1 scale Gundam statue coming back and already ready for viewing in Odaiba Tokyo, Bandai have announced that a mini theme park will be housed inside the new Diver City shopping complex known as – Gundam Front Tokyo at Diver City Tokyo. There will be both free and paid elements to the mini theme park including a hemispherical dome theatre for immersive videos, a project display zone with rare production materials, an archive counter that will offer visitors information on various Gundam projects, and the coolest feature “photospots” for taking pictures alongside the various Gundam characters. There will of course be a gift shop also for all your Gundam goods.
