We are running our very first design a tee competition and you’re all invited. We want you to distil the very essence of what it means to be Otaku – on a tee shirt. Your concept can be funny or sad, in Japanese or English, for guys or girls, the main thing is that it explores what it means to you to be Otaku.

This was by far the hardest contest we’ve ever had to judge because everything we received was just so damn good. We even had to bend the rules and add two runners-up prizes. First prize ($100 MM voucher) goes to The_Toonologist for ‘Bammer’ of the kyanonbo-ru clan (Cannonball Clan), it blew us away.

Shipping of Holiday orders (placed after 15th December) The Madman warehouse is moving. This is great news for web customers as improved delivery and services are on their way. However it does mean that there will be a slight delay for our first new mail-out of the new year.

Please note that over the Christmas and New Year period, there will be a delay in processing orders between the 22nd December and the 9th January.
