Here’s a round-up of the latest licenses that we have acquired and announced at Supanova Brisbane. Look forward to these and more coming soon. Oh and we might have some more announcements very zhortly.
INITIAL D – 1ST, 2ND, 3RD AND 4TH STAGE
Takumi and the rest of the Gunma area street racers finally returns! Not only that, but we have also acquired the much anticipated Third Stage Movie and Fourth Stage series. Look out for the previously unreleased 3rd and 4th Stage in July, with 1st and 2nd Stage to come in 2011.
OCEAN WAVES
The final full-length Studio Ghibli feature film that we have not yet released, is finally coming! Originally a made for TV movie, this film will be presented uncut and subtitled only.
SUMMER WARS
The brand new film from the same team that brought us THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME, this movie was a smash hit in Japan last year, winning much praise and awards. Look out for it at REEL ANIME 2010 in September too!

No. All seasons of Initial D are now dubbed. We are releasing and re-releasing all of it featuring the new dub

I don”t want to see the same release format I saw from the tokyopop mess.. MADMAN released previously.. I already own the tokyopop version I don’t want to waste more money buying the same release format again..

4th Stage collection 2 will be released in September
1st Stage (redub) collection 1 (1-13)will be released in early 2011
1st Stage (redub) collection 2 (14-26) will be released in early 2011
2nd Stage will be released in 2011.
I’m unsure whether extra stage will be on the 2nd stage collection, but it should be. Our releases will mirror Funimations

2:32pm 27/04/2010We will most likely do a Blu-Ray release as soon as Funimation have confirmed they are doing one.
No limited edition boxsets. It will be just 2 x 2 disc sets like we’ve been doing for our other series title releases lately. We figured since it’s been that long we want to get these out as quickly as possible in the most value for money way.
Both Summer Wars and Evangelion 2.0 will be part of REEL ANIME so you’ll be able to see them both together at the same time.
