We’ve all heard about and seen picture of the 1:1 scale Gundam. Yup that’s glorious and all that and it’s still on display in Shizouka, but what we missed out on seeing is the RC Gundam. Called the Recycle Grade Gundam, this RX-78-2 model is made entirely from the spare parts and plastic trees left over from various Gundam model kits. The kit apparently took over 250 man hours to build and stands 3 metres tall. It went on display at the Chara Hobby expo in late August.
