18-meter-tall robot to be relocated to home of Bandai's plastic model factory
Well OK, not really the ashes…but from the dusty warehouse from which it has been kept since it was removed from Odaiba in August.
News from Japan is that the 1:1 scale Gundam will be making a return. This time it will be standing tall for 10 months outside the Higashi-Shizuoka train station.
Higashi-Shizuoka is also the home of the Bandai Hobby Centre is also located in the city.
Look out for it to be relocated by July 2010.
