The vampire nation is expanding! A new vampire could crop up anywhere, including in our schools! VAMPIRE KNIGHT is emerging from the shadows on ABC3 TV at 8pm. To celebrate, we want to see what will happen when other universes of anime characters become infested with vampires!
What happens when a favoured hero becomes a vampire? Will darkness consume them to the terror of their friends? Will they just take it in their stride? Or will it be a tragedy, to which they have to make drastic changes?
What if a villain’s powers were enhanced with vampirism? Or what if an unexpected, minor character becomes a vampire, how would this change their story?
And if you like existing vampire characters, what would life be if their curse was reversed? Let the bloody creative juices flow!

Sinister and sultry! Asuka has always had a sharp tongue and disdain for co-pilot Rei, but with a sharp set of teeth she can act on it in a dangerous new way! Aurelia’s lurid forms for the two characters, amazing use of colour blending for the misty bathhouse, and the viper like curl of the mouth for Asuka makes for a classic vampire scene.

Venture Bros: Bloodsuckers Attack by dogaholic
What a blast! Pulp action in the extreme, right down to the comic book cover. 10 cents – old school indeed! The amazing linework and thick inking really brings out the detail and contrast as Henchman 21 becomes a badass vampire hunter, battling the Monarch and his fellow henchmen in true pulp style. Awesome!

Third Place
Featuring another tragic scene of two teammates, this time the Sailor Scouts have one of their own fall to vampirism, and now Sailor Moon is mere food! The pseudo realism to the characters works well here. The pose and expression from Saturn shows a morbid regard, with no regret, for the fallen Sailor Moon. Very cool.
