Gold Coast Madman National Cosplay Championship 2012 preview

With the first round of the Madman National Cosplay Championship over, we’re off to find our second finalists on the beautiful Gold Coast this weekend. Make sure you come on by on the 21st of April at 12pm inside the Madman National Cosplay Championship Theatre at Supanova Expo to find out who will win!

You will also be able to live stream the event on our uStream page. But for now let’s take a look at who will be stepping up to the plate this weekend in Queensland!

Entry 1 – Arc Iris

Miley and Jeremy. What a combo. You may remember Jeremy from last year’s finals as a wild card entrant and this is Miley’s first year competing in the MNCC. This team however have won many awards and we are very much looking forward to what they can pull off for us this weekend.

Entry 2 – Mahna Mahnom

This new team consisting of Hayley and Melissa are new to the Cosplay competition scene but have done a variety of much loved costumes in the past including characters from Pokemon and also the Powerpuff Girls. We are looking forward to this fresh new team in our contest.

Entry 3 – My Hair’s Spiked, My Pants are really tight and I Cosplay

What a mouthful! But a very clever team name too! Yet another new team to the MNCC and we have what looks to be a very excellent duo competing here. The series they are going to be cosplaying from seems to be very rarely seen but we love to see people try new things.  We are looking forward to seeing what you’ve got Kaitlyn and Daya.

Entry4 – Chopperman

Sarah is an experienced contestant in the MNCC. She competed in a team in the past couple of contests but is going solo this time around. What costume will she be dazzling the stage with this year??

There’s only one way to find out the answer to all these questions and that’s by watching the live stream on Saturday at 12pm or by being there LIVE at Supanova Expo!
