We’re getting ready for the 2nd impact, and preparing for the post-apocalypse in our deep second city bunkers. Why? Well, it’s obviously all coming horribly, magnificently true – because in Japan they’re building the Evangelion!
As reported on Anime News Network, “Japan’s Fuji-Q HighLand amusement park has announced that it will open a new pavilion called “Evangelion: World – Life-Size EVA-01 Construction Project” on July 23. The pavilion will house the world’s first life-size recreation of the scene where the Evangelion anime’s main character Shinji Ikari encounters the Eva-01 unit for the first time.”
The pavilion, which is part of the amusement park located at the very foot of Mt Fuji, will also have a life-size cockpit of an Evangelion unit – there’s no confirmation yet on whether we’ll get to jump inside and nearly drown in sweet, sweet LCL fluid.
