Your Name Wins Best Animated Film at the Los Angeles Critics Awards

After sweeping award ceremonies and climbing the all time film ranks, Makoto Shinkai's smash hit film You Name takes out one of the biggest awards of the year!

Every December the Los Angeles Film Critics Association honours members of the film industry who have excelled in their fields and vote for the films they think deserve the highest recognition. Yesterday they announced their top picks for 2016.

Your Name was awarded this year’s Best Animated Film, with The Red Turtle claiming the runners up prize. Other films in the animated-feature category included ‘Zootopia’ and ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’.
