Madman Entertainment’s Statement of Support for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament

On October 14, 2023, Australians will have their say in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament and Government.

Madman Entertainment is proud to say “Yes” leading into the referendum, supporting a First Nations Voice to the Federal Parliament about laws and policies.

In 2022, Madman started the process of developing a Reconciliation Action Plan, recognising the important place that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples play in our nation, culture and business. Madman is committed to heighten the visibility and presence of First Nations peoples and stories within our community through feature film distribution.
