Tales from Earthsea tops Japanese box office

Studio Ghibli's latest feature film Tales From Earthsea has topped Japan's box office in it's opening week. Opening to 435 screens the film has already grossed over 905,335,600 yen.

Tales from Earthsea is Goro Miyazaki's debut film and is also expected to be screened at the 2006 Venice Film Festival.
