News from the latest issue of Newtype Japan has revealed details about a new series of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION. Consisiting of four parts, the first movie is expected to arrive in Japanese cinemas mid-2007.
The movie will be supervised by creator Hideki Anno and directed by Tsurumaki Kazuya, with character designs by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and mechanical design by Ikuto Yamashita. Animation production will be handled by Anno's own Color Studio.
