The Melbourne Round of the Madman National Cosplay Championship was held over the weekend at the Supanova Pop Culture Expo in Melbourne. Crowds were quite enthusiastic as 4 entrants dazzled us on stage with some excellent costumes and captivating skits.
In the end though there can only be one and last year’s South Australian round winner Giorgia will this year be representing her home state of Victoria at the finals in Brisbane this November.
Second place was also last year’s second place getter Rebecca with a haunting rendition as Beatrice the Golden Witch from Umineko Naku Koro ni.
Third place went to Sasu who cosplayed as Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler.
Also competing was Chey as Terra from Final Fantasy VI.
