Fullmetal Alchemist Gets a New Live Action Film!

It's time to brush up on your alchemy knowledge, because the Elric brothers are coming back!

Almost 6 years since the manga series ended, Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist manga is getting a live-action film adaption!

Filming is scheduled to run from June to August of in Italy this year and is slated for a Winter (in Australia) release in 2017.

Yamada Ryosuke will star as Edward Elric in the upcoming film, but you might know him better as Nagisa from the live-action adaptation of Assassination Classroom or as a member of  pop idol group Hey!Say!JUMP!

Fumihiko Sori will be directing the new film. He has also worked on projects such as Appleseed and the Ping Pong live action film.
